Contribution to the review of the European Commission Horizon 2020 Programme as member of a group of 20 experts dealing with ‘socio-economic issues of energy governance’. The reflection is taken up as a set of responses to questions put forward by the EC in the 2012 Interdisciplinary StudyBenefits and limitations of nuclear fission for a low carbon economy: Defining priorities for Euratom fission research & training (Horizon 2020).
